Weld Stud with 3 Projections On Top of Head

This Projection Weld Screw features three precision weld projections located on the top of the head to allow for welding directly to (as opposed to through) the surface of the sheet material. The three projections are of equal height and mass and are positioned on the head, allowing for a robust weld connection while eliminating the need for drilled holes. Application notes

This weld screw allows for welding directly to the surface of the sheet material. Three symmetrical weld projections located on top of the head allow for a robust weld that will not disfigure the exterior surface of the sheet material. The screw head will not protrude through the surface of the sheet; therefore, a clean, smooth surface appearance is maintained. This weld screw is an ideal choice for blind locations since it can be easily pre-attached.

For applications that require a robust weld screw that can be applied directly to a sheet surface without leaving a protruding head on the opposite side of the sheet, this particular weld screw is an excellent choice. It is also an ideal choice for designs incorporating one or more blind attachment locations.
