Hardness:200-300HV, 300 HV～370 HV

Surface treatment: without surface treatment, i.e., the washers shall be of natural color and coated with rust preventive oil or as agreed between the supplying and demanding parties; appropriate coating or plating process shall be applied to the hardened and tempered washers to avoid hydrogen embrittlement. When gaskets are plated or phosphate, they shall be suitably treated immediately after plating or coating to drive out harmful hydrogen embrittlement; all tolerances apply to dimensions before coating or plating.

Surface Defects: Pieces shall not be permitted to have irregular or deleterious defects. No protruding burrs shall be permitted on the surface of the washers.

The hardness test is according to GB/T 4340.1.

Test force: HV2 for nominal thickness h≤0.6 mm

HV10 For nominal thickness 0.6 mm <h≤1.2 mm.

HV30 For nominal thickness h > 1.2 mm.
