Material: manganese steel (65Mn, 1566)
Material properties: it is a wider use of carbon spring steel, compared with 65 steel, has a higher strength, hardness, elasticity, and hardenability, critical quenching diameter in the water is generally 30 ~ 50mm, the oil is generally 16-32mm, heat treatment with superheat sensitivity and tempering brittleness tendency to water quenching easy to crack, the general use of oil quenching, the cross-sectional size of > 80 should be quenched and oil-cooled water quenching: annealing cutting still good, but low cold deformation plasticity, poor welding performance. However, the cold deformation plasticity is low, poor welding performance. This steel is generally used by pure fire, medium temperature tempering.
Material chemical composition (%): carbon: 0.62 - 0.70, silicon: 0.17 - 0.37, manganese: 0.90 - 1.20, phosphorus ≤ 0.035, sulfur ≤ 0.035, nickel ≤ 0.25, chromium ≤ 0.25, copper ≤ 0.25

Speed Nuts are flat-type push-on fasteners that are a strong replacement for lock washers, threaded nuts, and spanner washers. Applied over studs, rivets, tubing, nails, and other un-threaded parts, They take a “bite” on metal, plastic, or wood while providing a secure grip on smooth or hard surfaces. Speed Nuts have an arched base and prongs and a single thread that won’t clog or freeze to the screw thread. The combined forces of the inward thread lock and the arched spring lock prevent vibration loosening and eliminate the need for secondary fasteners.
Flat-type Speed Nuts are simply positioned over the screw hole and the screw is started. Free-running threads permit the fastener to spin down the screw into the locking position. A few fast turns of the screw are all it takes to lock the fastener in place.  Available in a wide variety of shapes and screw sizes. They are easy to install, remove, and use again without loss of holding power or vibration resistance.
