The main difference between reverse shaft retaining rings and shaft retaining rings is the difference in application. Reverse shaft retaining rings are mainly used in reverse operation, while shaft retaining rings are mainly used for general shaft orientation.
Specifically, reverse shaft retaining rings are typically used in certain machinery and equipment where orientation or position control is required in the case of reverse rotation. They are effective in restricting the axial position of a shaft or parts of a shaft to prevent it from jumping or rotating during high-speed reverse rotation. In contrast, shaft retaining rings are typically used for position control or orientation work in the shaft's upward direction. Retaining rings mounted on shafts prevent shafts or parts on shafts from loosening or shifting, thus ensuring shaft stability and work efficiency.
