Retaining rings for shafts with teeth are ring-shaped parts fastened to the shaft to prevent other parts mounted on the shaft from loosening and falling off. They are made by the wire stamping process and have a round cross-section.
The function of the retaining ring for shafts with teeth is to prevent axial loosening of rolling bearings and gears by means of the bearing cap and its fastening screws.
