DIN 432 External Tab Washers&External tab washers (locking tab washers)

Designed for use with bearing nuts, these lock washers have a conical shape that presses like a spring against bearings, bushings, gears, and pulleys to hold them in place on your threaded shaft or spindle. They also have an inner tab that sits in the shaft or spindle’s keyway to prevent the nut from loosening. Made of steel, they’re strong and flexible.

DIN 462 and DIN 5406 werehers meet international standards for lock washer dimensions. Pair DIN 462 washers with DIN 1804 bearing nuts, and DIN 5406 washers with DIN 981 bearing nuts.    

External tab washer anti-loosening is a device that utilizes the principle of elastic deformation and friction to prevent bolts from loosening. Specific principles are as follows:
1. Elastic deformation: stop washers are generally made of metal materials, with a certain degree of elasticity. When the bolt is tightened, the stop washer is compressed and deformed, which will produce elastic retraction force to resist bolt loosening.
2. Friction: the contact surface between the stop washer and the bolt and the connecting surface forms a certain friction. The friction can prevent the bolt from loosening due to external force or vibration.
3. Eddy current locking principle: some stop washers have a special eddy current structure designed on the surface, when the bolt vibrates, the eddy current structure will produce an eddy current damping effect, which enhances the tightening force of the stop washer by hindering the bolt from free rotation.

Packing: The inner packaging consists of polyfoam, while the outer layer is a carton. The carton sizes are 29*19*19.5 cm and 23.5*17.5*8 cm, respectively. The pallet dimensions are 215*100*90 cm, or they can be customized according to your requirements.
