Spring-Type Straight Pins-Slotted

Material: 65Mn or 60Si2MnA; P grade bright spring steel strip, high-quality carbon steel C ≥ 0.65, Mn ≥ 0.60, quenched and tempered hardness: 420HV ~ 520HV

Isothermal quenching hardness: 500HV ~ 560HV. silicomanganese steel C ≥ 0.5, Si ≥ 1.5, Mn ≥ 0.7

Quenched and tempered hardness: 420HV ~ 560HV.

Austenitic stainless steels cold worked, martensitic stainless steels quenched and tempered hardness: 440HV ~ 560HV Hardness tested according to ISO 6507-1.

Straight grooves

Heat treatment: Elastic cylindrical pins should be heat-treated, and their hardness is HV 420~560.

Surface treatment: Oxidized， Plain, i.e. pins to be supplied in a natural finish, treated with a protective lubricant, unless otherwise specified by agreement between the customer and the supplier. If pins are surface coated, appropriate plating or coating processes should be employed to avoid hydrogen embrittlement. Due to the risk of hydrogen embrittlement, pins should not be electroplated or phosphate-coated. If electroplating or phosphate coating is required for corrosion prevention, by agreement between the customer and the supplier, it is mandatory that the pins be baked immediately after plating to minimize the risk of hydrogen embrittlement; see also information on hydrogen embrittlement relief in ISO 4042. Nevertheless, freedom from hydrogen embrittlement is not absolutely guaranteed.

All tolerances shall apply prior to the application of a plating or coating.

Surface Defects: The surface is not allowed to have cracks, floating rust, oxidized skin, and stripes and burrs that affect the use.
