These stud anchors strengthen the parts of buildings where steel framing connects to concrete. Weld them to the framing to help them adhere to the concrete and resist sheer forces. They have a head, so poured concrete embeds them solidly. Install them using conventional welding or specialized stud welders; a ferrule is included for use with stud welders. All anchors meet ASTM A108 material specifications and AWS D1.1 structural welding specifications. They’re also known as Nelson studs.
