Product Specification
Steel Hex Head Slotted Screws for Metal. These steel screws are zinc plated to resist corrosion in wet environments. They have a hex head for a secure grip with a wrench and a hexagon to reduce the risk of crushing thin metal. Screws cut threads in drilled holes as they’re turned, so they require less driving torque and cause less stress on your material than thread-forming screws. Length is measured from under the hexagon head. Head height includes the hexagon head. Screws meet ASME B18.6.3 dimensional standards. They also meet SAE J933 standards for material quality.
