1. These fittings are strong enough to handle extreme pressures, yet small enough to fit into cramped spaces. They are galvanized steel, which has fair corrosion resistance. Use these fittings for low-pressure applications in noncorrosive environments.NPTF (Dryseal) threads, NPSC (National Pipe Straight Coupling) threads, and NPSL (National Pipe Straight Locknut) threads are compatible with NPT threads.NPTF (Dryseal) threads are compatible with NPT threads.

2. With better strength than our low-pressure iron and steel pipe fittings, these can handle medium-pressure applications. They are for use in noncorrosive environments. The galvanized finish on these fittings provides fair corrosion resistance. Fittings are for use in low-pressure applications.

3. High-Pressure Iron and Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings These fittings can stand up to high-pressure applications. Use them in noncorrosive environments. Phosphate-coated and zinc-phosphate-coated fittings offer some corrosion resistance but aren't intended for corrosive environments.

Low-Pressure Iron and Steel Threaded Pipe Fittings with Sealant&Plugs with External Square Drive

These fittings, also known as Pressure Class 125 or 150 fittings, have an acrylic sealant already applied to the male threads for extra protection to prevent leaks in low-pressure lines. Made of either iron or steel, they're best in noncorrosive environments. Even with sealant, threaded connections can be removed for maintenance and repair.

Threaded pipe plugs are designed to close the ends of internally threaded pipes and fittings.
