Material: Titanium alloy.Tamper-Resistant Torx Large Rounded Head Tapping Screws
Torx Rounded Head Screws, A Torx drive has more points of contact than Phillips, slotted, and square drives, allowing you to apply extra force with less slippage or damage to the recess. These steel screws are zinc plated to resist corrosion in wet environments. They penetrate 0.025" and thinner sheet metal. Length is measured from under the head.
Strip-Resistant Screws, Also known as Fastite screws, offer more thread engagement in 0.028" to 0.063" thick sheets to prevent overtightening and damaging threads. They're made from steel and have a zinc plating to resist corrosion in wet environments. Length is measured from under the head.
Lightweight Strength
Not only are titanium grade 5 fasteners extremely strong, offering 148 ksi UTS and 138ksi yield, but they are also incredibly light. With a density of 4.51 g /cm3, titanium has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios available to the industry. Titanium Grade 5 screws are four times stronger than 316 stainless steel at nearly half the weight. This makes titanium fasteners ideal for applications that require both lightness of weight and excellent strength, such as medical, military, and sporting goods.
Which Grade is Best for Your Application?
The most common grades of Titanium fasteners are Grade 2 (commercially pure Ti) and Grade 5 (Ti 6Al-4V - high strength). Still not sure?

Product Specification
Various specifications can be manufactured according to customer requirements.High strength, high thermal strength, good corrosion resistance, high chemical activity, and small thermal conductivity. Titanium alloy has high strength and low density, good mechanical properties, good toughness, and corrosion resistance. In addition, the process performance of titanium alloy is poor, and it is difficult to cut and process. During thermal processing, it is very easy to absorb impurities such as hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon. Also have poor wear resistance, and a complex production process. Our most corrosion-resistant metal screws, titanium screws withstand salt water, acids, and chemicals. They have a high strength-to-weight ratio and are about 40% lighter than steel screws. All meet either ASME B18.3 or ISO 4762 (formerly DIN 912) dimensional specifications. Length is measured from under the head. Coarse threads are the industry standard; choose these screws if you don’t know the threads per inch. Fine threads are closely spaced to prevent loosening from vibration. They are not compatible with coarse threads.
The heat treatment process of titanium alloy:
(1) Stress relief annealing: the purpose is to eliminate or reduce the residual stress generated during processing. Prevents chemical attacks and reduces deformation in some corrosive environments.
(2) Complete annealing: the purpose is to obtain good toughness, improve processing performance, facilitate reprocessing, and improve dimensional and organizational stability.
(3) Solution treatment and aging: The purpose is to improve its strength. α titanium alloy and stable β titanium alloy cannot be subjected to strengthening heat treatment, and only annealing is performed in the production. α+β titanium alloys and metastable β titanium alloys containing a small amount of α phase can be further strengthened by solution treatment and aging.
Size Can also be According to the Customer's requirement for manufacturing, please check the detailed specification sheet details PDF, CAD, 211-212 Page See more product details.
