The concept of combination sealing washer

A combination washer is made of a rubber ring and a metal ring. Material: carbon steel + nitrile/fluoroelastomer, stainless steel + nitrile/fluoroelastomer

Temperature: 1. Nitrile rubber: limit temperature -40~120℃, recommended long-term use temperature -20~100℃.

    2. Fluoroelastomer: Limit temperature -40~240℃, long-term use temperature -20~220℃ is recommended.

Pressure: up to about 40MPa

1. 1. Manufacturing difficulty: Combining washers from different material layers through the composite processing combination must ensure that the bonding strength between different material layers and compression forces are —reasonably controlled manufacturing difficulty.

2. Higher cost: relative to the traditional single-material washers, combined washers of material costs and production costs will be increased.

 Application of combination sealing washers in gases

Combined washers are suitable for various working media, including gas. Gas is an extraordinary medium, but it does not affect the effectiveness of the combination of washers.

1. The choice of gasket combinations should be based on specific working conditions to choose the right gasket type and material combination.

2. When using a combination of gaskets for sealing, one should pay attention to the prior cleaning of the sealing surface and the combination of gaskets, and the gaskets should be evenly coated with sealing material.

3. During storage and transportation, the combined gasket's surface should be smooth and clean and not damaged or deformed.
