Using a digital torque wrench, I found that the bolt torque had not yet reached 20 N-m, and the spring washer had already been wholly flattened, which verified the correctness of the above deduction.

Analysis of the above two points shows that the spring washer can only provide 10 N-m of elasticity, and 10 N-m of elasticity for the 280 N-m bolt preload torque can be ignored. Secondly, such a small force is not enough to make the spring washer incision at the point embedded in the surface of the bolt and the connected parts. After folding and dismantling, there is no apparent embedding mark on the surface of the bolt and the corresponding part. Therefore, the anti-loosening effect of the spring washer on the bolt can be ignored. In addition, between the bolt and the related parts, add a washer; if the quality of the washer has a problem, it is equivalent to the bolt connection having added a security risk.
