Definition of International Standard Flat Washers

A flat washer is a simple mechanical part usually used to adjust the distribution of tightening forces and protect the surface of fittings and connections from greater loads. According to the definitions of DIN125 and ISO 7089, a flat washer is a kind of round, thin plate whose diameter is larger than the hole diameter, usually placed under the nut of a threaded connection or on top of the bolt head of a threaded connection. Flat washers are commonly used materials

1. Carbon steel flat washers The most common type of material is carbon steel flat washers, which are usually made from Q235, 65Mn, and other high-quality carbon steel. The application of different materials and performance characteristics of flat washers

1. Carbon steel flat washer application scenario: Carbon steel flat washers are suitable for connecting and fixing most mechanical types of equipment. Their high hardness and strength can withstand enormous loads and pressure. However, they have low resistance to corrosion and need to be prevented from rusting.

2. Stainless steel flat washers Applicable scenes: Stainless steel flat washers suit high humidity, high temperature, low temperature, and strongly corrosive environments. Plastic flat washers commonly use materials or more: PA66, PA66 +30% glass fiber, PA66 +50% glass fiber, PC, PP, PPS, PVC, PVDF and so on. Plastic flat washers have unique advantages, low production costs, and insulation; on special occasions, they can play the role of carbon steel, and stainless steel can not be replaced with the effect.
