Made from brass, these nuts are corrosion-resistant in wet environments, electrically conductive, and nonmagnetic.
Nickel-plated brass nuts have excellent resistance to chemicals and salt water. Therefore, copper nuts are used instead of carbon steel nuts in the injection molding of embedded nuts.
