High-Load Ultra-Low-Friction Oil-Embedded Sleeve Bearings. With extra iron and filled with oil containing slippery PTFE, these bearings support heavy loads that frequently start and stop along shafts. Startup friction causes a thin layer of oil to release onto the surface. Their high iron content also means they resist failing if their load suddenly and drastically increases, but they won’t run as fast as standard bearings. As sleeve bearings, they handle loads parallel to the shaft.
Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.
Self-lubricating bushing: Carbon Steel + Copper Powder + (PTFE + Pb + Filler). Steel backed with copper-plated steel with porous bronze sintered on the steel and polymers (PTFE+Pb) embedded into the bores of the bronze. By combining the metals and the polymers, its products are endowed with a lower friction coefficient and good capacity for anti-abrasion and self-lubrication. Moreover, the steel back is plated with an erosion-prevention layer. Products of the PTFE composite series are widely applied in printing, weaving, tobacco-producing machines, gymnastic equipment, etc.
