Stainless steel Retaining Rings/Thinwalls are Palnut Push-On fasteners made of smooth stainless steel  and have a rigid interior, making them suited for high retention when applied over unthreaded shafts or studs. Thinwalls easily slide over and grip onto round shafts or studs thus preventing the shaft from sliding out of position. They can be applied with simple tools, pressed into position, or the stud may be pressed into the fastener.
