The simplicity of a quarter turn is all it takes to secure panels quickly and easily with these versatile little fasteners. Numerous head styles, stud lengths, receptacle styles, and accessories, provide flexibility for accommodating many specific mounting requirements.    

Compared with castings and forgings, stamped parts are thin, uniform, light, and strong. Stamping can produce workpieces with reinforcing bars, ribs, undulations, or flanges that are difficult to manufacture by other methods to improve their rigidity. Due to the use of precision molds, the accuracy of the workpiece can reach the micron level, and high repeatability, and consistent specifications, can be stamped out of the hole nests, tabs, and so on.
Cold stamped parts are generally no longer cut and processed, or only a small amount of cutting. Hot-stamped parts' precision and surface condition are lower than cold-stamped parts, but still better than castings, forgings, and less cutting.
Stamping is a high-efficiency production method, the use of composite molds, especially multi-station progressive die, can be completed in a press on several stamping processes, to achieve full-automatic production from the strip uncoiling, leveling, punching to forming, and finishing. High production efficiency, good labor conditions, and low production costs, generally can produce hundreds of pieces per minute.
Stamping is mainly categorized by process, which can be divided into two categories: separation process and forming process. The separation process, also known as blanking, its purpose is to make the stamped parts along a certain contour line from the sheet separation, while ensuring the quality requirements of the separation section. The surface and internal properties of the sheet material used for stamping have a great influence on the quality of the finished stamping products, and the thickness of the stamping material is required to be precise and uniform; the surface is smooth and clean, with no spots, scars, abrasions, surface cracks, etc.; the yield strength is uniform and has no obvious directionality; the uniform elongation is high; the yield-to-weight ratio is low; and the hardening of the work is low.
