Eye Nuts—For Lifting

Forged Eye Nuts - A fastener with a ring for a head, designed to receive a hook or a rope, cable, or chain. Often used to lift heavy equipment vertically, but are not recommended for angular lifting. They are typically used as attachments to equipment for transportation purposes that cannot be moved by hand.

Forged eye nuts are available in C1030 carbon steel (self-colored), zinc-plated steel, hot-dipped galvanized steel, C1045 Carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, and 316 stainless steel.

You can thread the unthreaded eye nuts, also known as blank eye nuts, to suit your application. Zinc-plated steel eye nuts offer good corrosion resistance. Galvanized steel eye nuts have a hot-dipped finish for more corrosion resistance than zinc-plated steel.304 stainless steel eye nuts are more corrosion-resistant than galvanized steel.316 stainless steel is the most corrosion-resistant eye nuts.
