The insert nut knurled with a retaining flange is pressed into the rear of the through-hole (accessibility from two sides) until the retaining flange touches the component. The slotted anchoring section with diamond knurl is compressed. When the screw is screwed in, the thread insert is forced open in the anchoring section so that the diamond knurl penetrates the plastic material. The retaining flange which acts as shoulder support ensures a good locking effect against pull-out due to additional positive locking. In addition, the screw is locked. For the additional expansion force, the tightening torque must be increased by 10 %.Material: brass CuZn38Pb2 (compliant with EU 2000/53) / brass CuZn39Pb3.
