Technical requirements for lawnmowers are as follows: 


1. The fastening connections of the lawnmower should be secure and reliable. Important fasteners (screws, all-metal self-locking nuts, stainless steel mechanical parts, etc.) must have anti-loosening measures. After all, it is mechanical equipment, and it would be dangerous if it loosens during operation.

Widespread Application of Stainless Steel in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry:


Stainless steel is widely used in the automotive manufacturing industry, and it has been widely adopted in public transportation vehicles such as buses, subways, and high-speed trains. It is extensively used in various components in automobile manufacturing, including the following categories:


1. Stainless steel for exhaust systems: Most of the components in the exhaust system are made of ferritic stainless steel, which is the most commonly used stainless steel in the automotive industry. Stainless steel grades such as 409L and 436L are commonly used. From an economic and practical point of view, some exhaust systems of vehicles often use ferritic stainless steel grade 0Cr11Ti, while in Japan, ferritic stainless steel with 13Cr to 17Cr content and its improved versions are primarily used.


2. Stainless steel for fuel tanks: Stainless steel fuel tanks not only eliminate the risk of fuel leakage but also possess corrosion resistance, excellent formability, and can eliminate or simplify the painting process. They are also easily recyclable. Stainless steel grades such as 304L and JFE-SX1 are commonly used.


3. Stainless steel for car frames: The combination of modular car frame design and stainless steel materials results in cars with excellent crash resistance, lightweight, high reliability, and long service life. Such car frames can be fully recycled. Stainless steel grades such as 409L, 3Cr12, and 304L are commonly used.


4. Stainless steel components in automobiles: These mainly include stainless steel seals and heat exchangers. Stainless steel grades such as 301 are commonly used for seals, while heat exchangers typically use stainless steel materials like SUS304, SUS430, and SUS409L. Some austenitic stainless steel grades are also used in certain components. For instance, 0Cr17 and 0Cr18Ni9 are used for oil coolers, 0Cr17 is used for headlight trim rings, and large bus handrails and guardrails are made of stainless steel.


5. Stainless steel for automotive decoration: Stainless steel moldings, antennas, wheel covers, etc., are used in small cars, while handrails, guardrails, and grab handles in large buses and vehicles are also made of stainless steel. To reduce costs, rear-view mirrors are mainly made of SUS430J1L stainless steel, and some car rear-view mirrors use SUS436J1L stainless steel. Stainless steel grades such as SUS430, SUS304, and SUS301 are commonly used for windshield wipers, while headlight trim rings are made of SUS430 and similar grades. Stainless steel is also frequently used in devices in automobiles. For example, seat belt retractors use SUS301 stainless steel, and sensors and boost pumps for airbags mainly use SUS304 and SUS304L stainless steel, while ABS induction rings use stainless steel grades such as SUS434 and SUS444.


6. Stainless steel for car frames or entire body shells: Car frames or entire body shells made of stainless steel containing 11% to 12% chromium are commonly used. Stainless steel grades such as 00Cr11Ti, 0Cr11Ni4Ti, and 00Cr12NiTi are often used. Some countries have successively used stainless steel in large buses, coal transport vehicles, city subway vehicles, and other applications. The automotive industry is one of the rapidly developing areas for stainless steel applications. Large buses, subways, high-speed trains, and other public transportation vehicles have also widely adopted stainless steel. Considering manufacturing, maintenance, and energy consumption costs, stainless steel cars are much cheaper than aluminum alloy cars and carbon steel cars.
