Aluminum alloy precision spare parts processing is widely used for five reasons:

1、Aluminum alloy precision parts have processability
Aluminum can be easily shaped, processed, and machined through various processes. Because it is soft and easy to break, it can be cut quickly and easily with machine tools. It is also cheaper and requires less power compared to steel. Aluminum's good machinability means that it deforms less during machining. This leads to higher accuracy as it allows CNC machines to obtain higher tolerances.
2、Aluminum alloy has high strength
Aluminum parts have a very high strength-to-weight ratio. The density of aluminum is about one-third that of steel. The demand for aluminum parts has increased. The material has high strength but is light in weight. These two properties make it ideal for the manufacture of critical components in the automotive and aerospace industries. Different grades of aluminum are used for different purposes. With a good strength-to-weight ratio, general-purpose products such as 6061 can be used for a variety of parts, and notably, high-strength products such as 7075 may be preferred for aerospace and marine applications.
3、Aluminum alloy has high corrosion resistance
Aluminum is resistant to scratching and corrosion under common marine and atmospheric conditions. You can enhance these properties by anodizing. t6061 and t7475 grades have excellent corrosion resistance.
4、Aluminum alloy can withstand temperature changes
Steel cannot withstand high welding temperatures or very low temperatures. Aluminum, however, can withstand both effectively. Aluminum can maintain its flexibility, ductility, and strength at very low temperatures.
5、High electrical conductivity of the aluminum alloy
The electrical conductivity of pure aluminum is about 37.7 million Siemens per meter. Although the electrical conductivity of aluminum alloys may be lower than that of pure aluminum, they are conducive enough for their parts to find use in electrical components. On the other hand, if electrical conductivity is not a desirable characteristic for machined parts, aluminum would be an unsuitable material.
6、Aluminum alloy is highly recyclable
Aluminum parts are easy to recycle, which helps increase their use in industrial applications. Therefore, CNC-machined aluminum parts are ideal for companies seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. CNC machining is a subtractive process in which a large amount of material waste is generated due to a swarf. Material scrap can be recycled to produce a better product.
7、Anodizing
The anodizing process is usually carried out after the machining is completed and consists of passing an electric current through the part in an electrolytic acid bath, which is easily achieved in aluminum. And produce more resistance to physical impact and corrosion of aluminum sheets.
8、Aluminum alloy has customizability
Aluminum alloys can be easily customized to meet customer needs. CNC-machined parts can be beautified or trimmed to the desired specifications. We can coat aluminum alloys with colors including green, black, blue, or any other desired color as well as other finishes, including oxidation.
