Steel 1018 Machined Parts

Manufacturing has a reputation for machining quality parts from 1018 Steel. We can machine intricate parts on our CNC Swiss machines and CNC turning centers. Steel alloy 1018 is a general-purpose alloy, ideal for parts that require forming and surface hardening. While not as machinable, it is a good choice for parts that require very strong welds and a lower strength than high-carbon alloys. 1018 is available case-hardened only.1018 has a machining cost factor of 2.4 when compared to steel 12L14. It produces exceptional welds that do not require pre- or post-heating processes. 1018 responds well to case hardening and heat treatment.Material: Stainless Steel

The passivation treatment of stainless steel is a rust prevention process, because, after a variety of processing of stainless steel materials, the metal elements of stainless steel raw materials have been completely changed, just like a wound. Therefore, the rust-proof performance is greatly reduced, resulting in stainless steel materials and easy to rust, so do a passivation rust-proof treatment to enhance the workpiece a rust-proof performance.

1. Stainless steel passivation solution uses inorganic acid as the main oxidizer, adding anodic adsorption intermediate additives, no acid corrosion components, odorless, room temperature use. The passivation process does not destroy the original color, does not change the size, and improves the salt spray resistance of stainless steel.

2. Conventional operation process: degreasing cleaning - rinsing water - passivation - rinsing water - drying or drying

Packing: Inner is Poly foam, out is carton. Then pallet. Carton size: 29*19*19.5CM and 23.5*17.5*8, CM and pallet size is: 215*100*90CM, or as your requirement.
