New small-diameter female threaded copper pipe solution in air conditioning heat exchangers
1. The application of internally threaded copper tubes in air conditioner heat exchangers can improve the cooling efficiency and heating efficiency of air conditioners. As the inner thread structure can increase the flow rate and flow of fluid in the tube, it makes the heat transfer to the air faster, thus improving the heat exchange efficiency. At the same time, the smaller diameter of the internally threaded copper tube reduces the size and weight of the air conditioner and lowers the cost.

The application in air conditioner heat exchangers, female threaded copper pipe can also be used in other fields of the heat exchanger, such as automobile radiators, industrial coolers, etc. In automobile radiators, the female threaded copper tube can improve heat dissipation efficiency and make the automobile engine more stable and reliable.

During the design phase, it is important to select the correct grade of copper for your application. For example, it is difficult and uneconomical to use pure copper for completely mechanical parts. c101 (pure copper) has higher electrical conductivity due to its purity (99.99% copper), but is less machinable, while c110 is generally easier to machine and therefore more cost-effective. The selection of the correct material grade depends on the properties that are critical to the design function.
Design for manufacturability: No matter what material you use, DFM should always be a priority. At Fictiv, we recommend that you keep the features required by your application while keeping tolerances as loose as possible. It is also advisable to limit dimensional checks, avoid deep recesses with small radii, and limit the number of part setups. When designing copper parts, here are some specific best practices:
1. Maintain a minimum wall thickness of 0.5 mm
2. Maximum part size is 1200 * 500 * 152 mm for CNC milling and 152 * 394 mm for CNC turning
3. For nibbling, maintain a square profile, full radius, or dovetail profile
Finishing Copper: After machining is complete, there are a variety of factors to consider when deciding which process is best for your needs. The first step in surface finish control is during the CNC machining process. Certain CNC machining parameters can be controlled to change the surface quality of the machined part.
