Process characteristics of aluminum parts machining:

(1) It can reduce the influence of residual stress on machining deformation. After the completion of rough machining, it is recommended to use heat treatment to remove the stress generated by the rough machining of the part to reduce the impact of stress on the quality of finishing.

(2) Improve machining accuracy and surface quality. After the separation of roughing and finishing, finishing is just a small machining allowance, machining stress, and deformation is small, which can greatly improve the quality of the parts.

(3) Improve production efficiency. Because rough machining only removes excess material, leaving enough margin for finishing, so do not consider the size and tolerance, effectively plays the performance of different models of machine tools to improve cutting efficiency. After the aluminum parts are cut, the metal organization in the machining table will be greatly changed. The effect of cutting movement can lead to greater residual stresses. In order to reduce the deformation of the part, the residual stresses in the material need to be fully released.


Surface treatment of aluminum products

1. Sandblasting (shot blasting): a process that uses the influence of high-speed grit to clean and rough the metal surface. By surface treatment of CNC aluminum parts in this way, the surface of the workpiece has a certain degree of cleanliness and roughness, which improves the mechanical properties of the workpiece surface, increases the fatigue resistance of the workpiece, widens the gap, and helps to level and decorate the coating.

2. Polishing: It uses mechanical, chemical, or electrochemical action to reduce the surface roughness of the workpiece to obtain a bright and smooth surface treatment method. The polishing process is mainly divided into mechanical polishing, chemical polishing, and electrolytic polishing. Aluminum parts after mechanical polishing + electrolytic polishing, can be made closer to the mirror effect of stainless steel.

3. Drawing: metal drawing is the manufacturing process of repeatedly scraping down the aluminum plate from the metal wire with sandpaper. Drawing lines are divided into straight line drawing, chaotic drawing, swirl drawing, and line drawing. In the metal drawing process, the line marks are visible every minute, so the metal pad shines with a fine hair luster, both in fashion and technology.

4. Diamond Cutter: Diamond knives are reinforced by the high-speed (typically 20, 000 rpm) spindle of a fine engraving machine to cut parts and create localized highlight areas on the product surface. The brightness of the cutting highlights is influenced by the speed of the milling machine. The faster the drilling speed, the brighter the cutting highlights. Drilling speed will darken and tool marks may appear. Highlight and high-gloss cutting is especially used in cell phones such as iphone5. High-end metal bezels use high-gloss milling technology combined with anodizing and stretching processes to make the product more stylish and technically sharp.

5. Anodic oxidation: Anodic oxidation refers to the electrochemical oxidation of metals or alloys. Under certain process conditions, aluminum and its alloys form a layer of oxide film on aluminum products (anode) through the action of the corresponding electrolyte and applied current. Anodic oxidation not only solves the defects of aluminum surface hardness and wear resistance but also prolongs the service life of aluminum and enhances its beauty.

6. Two-color anodizing: Two-color aluminum oxide is the application of anodizing a product and assigning different colors to specific areas.
