Stainless Steel Flat Key: Depending on their purpose, flat keys can be divided into three types: ordinary flat keys, guiding flat keys, and sliding keys. Among them, ordinary flat keys are used for static connections, while guiding flat keys and sliding keys are used for dynamic connections. The uses and functions of ordinary flat keys, half-moon keys, and feather keys are as follows: 

1. Ordinary flat keys have a wide range of uses. Due to their simple structure and convenient assembly and disassembly, they have good alignment and are suitable for high-speed applications that experience variable loads and impact.

2. Half-moon keys have a semicircular shape and can pivot in the keyway to adapt to the shape of the hub keyway's bottom surface. They are commonly used for connecting tapered shaft ends and are suitable for applications with low connection loads. For example, a tapered shaft is connected to a standard A-type pulley using a half-moon key to drive its rotation.

3. Feather keys are primarily used for tight key connections. After assembly, due to the influence of the slope, the shaft and the parts on the shaft may experience deflection and eccentricity. Therefore, feather keys are not suitable for high-precision connections.
