1. a high-quality carbon structural steel, medium carbon steel, carbon content of 0.4% or more, not high hardness, easy cutting, usually by hot rolling or cold rolling forming;

2. tensile strength > 686MPa, yield strength > 490MPa;

3. tempered hardness between HRC20-HRC30, tempered to ensure superior mechanical properties, but the surface hardness is low, not wear-resistant, and cutting performance will be reduced;

4. hardness between HRC55-58 after quenching, the limit value can reach HRC62, but will reduce the original mechanical properties;

5. carburizing treatment can improve surface wear resistance;

6. Generally use tempering + surface quenching to adjust the hardness of the surface treatment of the parts, making a good overall performance.
