Nuts: The use of hexagon flange nuts produces the same effect as hexagon flange bolts. If the structure allows, hexagon flange nuts should be prioritized. It should be noted that all-metal locking nuts, which rely on thread deformation for locking, are not suitable for frequently disassembled positions. Non-metallic insert locking nuts have good reusability but, according to fastener standards, their application temperature should be ≤120°C. It is important to confirm the torque requirements for effective torque-locking nuts as the installation may require additional torque to overcome nut deformation or the force generated by non-metallic inserts. Simply using the torque value of ordinary nuts may not provide sufficient clamping force and could pose risks.
