Material design

1、Cold forging of the material

The material should have good plastic deformation ability and low sensitivity to cold work hardening, and the carbon content should be <0.5%.

2、Meet the product heat treatment process requirements

The material should be based on the size of the product's cross-sectional diameter, reference to the corresponding material hardenability parameters, and reasonable design of material grades. For diameter <M12 heat treatment should be designed according to the oil quenching process, and the material grade.

3、Material procurement

When designing the material grade, under the premise of fully meeting the performance requirements, we should choose the material grade with lower cost and sufficient procurement resources.
